A live by the quote-( no child left behind) and that mean a lot whether its in the classroom, church, on a dance team or etc. Each child has potential to do any/everything that put their mind too but need a little push to do so, that why I believe in this quote
I agree no child should ever be left behind in the way you have described here. When I hear that quote I think of schools systems who say "no child left behind" which means all children will move on to the next grade each year whether they are ready for the next grade or not. This quote has been adopted my some schools and it that context it make me very concerned for our students. I don't think students should be penalized for their lack of knowledge. However, I do think if a second year in a grade will help a student gain the necessary skill to get on a path of success its worth an extra year.
